Help me give something back by supporting my 25km walk for sick children like Liberty
As many of you know almost 21 years ago Liberty was born with Gastroschisis. For her whole life she has undergone regular visits to the hospital, surgery and tests. Both in Australia and England we benefited from the support of Ronald McDonald House (RMH) at the hospitals. Most recently while living in Canberra and having to travel to Sydney for tests and treatment we stayed at the RMH at Sydney Children's Hospital in Randwick. The support of having other families to talk too and being so close to the hospital was amazing.
On Sunday 30 March, Jamie and I are walking 25km to give something back and to say thank you for all the support and care we received and to raise money for seriously ill and injured children and their families.
For sick kids staying at Ronald McDonald House, they just want their families close as they battle childhood diseases, illnesses and injuries.
On average, it costs $160 to support a sick child and their family for one night.
Please support my 25km walk to keep families together as they face the most difficult journey of their lives.
Together, we can show these brave kids that we’re fighting for them.
